Destruction of Sodom = Gays Are Bad
This video gives analytical proof that the bible considers homosexuality a sin through the teaching about Sodom and Gomorrah. Or at least I was told it does, I couldn’t watch the whole thing because there were too many references and facts for my brain to handle — I’m too busy working on the umbrella!
I’d still like to know what they were doing over in Gomorrah that was so bad.
Also, how about making an official cocktail, and selling Giant Gay Repellent Umbrella Drink Umbrellas?

The video actually concludes the oposite of what you suggest. The issue encountered between the angels sent to Sodom and the qadesh (word used for sodomite) is not homosexuality, it is idolitry, the worship of false gods. Qadesh translates as the occupation of male temple prostitute. The practices of these people included fertility rituals, which were directed towards the gods of the polytheistic cultures. These rituals were intended to promote fertility towards the continuation of life; however, the angels found issue with the qadesh disobeying one of the ten commandments: thou shalt have no other gods before me. Therefore the video concludes that the story of Sodom and Gomorrah is being misrepresetned to suport a homophibic agenda.

With the things that the Tea Party say it is completely understandable to think they actually were constructing a massive holy umbrella to shield them from gay rain. I think Bachmann would be the first to sign on to the project.

Keeper of the Umbrella… you are obviously a full blow closet case. You have had gay thoughts, and are uncomfortable with how good they made you feel, but due to society and the pressures, are trying to find a way to mask this. If you were truly a heterosexual, then what homosexuals do with their private lives is their own business and does not affect you in any way.
Humans is just that, human rights. Why should homosexuals be denied anything that you have or get? You are no better than them. Fact is, homosexuals don’t just magically appear on this earth, we are born to heterosexuals, so maybe your rights should be denied too.
You are not one of Gods children for posting this, God loves all his children. He however does not like people who display hatred against their fellow men! The things you post here are a sin to him!

So many confused people! You’re talking about a giant umbrella, for pete’s sake…but I guess that’s not SO much more silly than some of the things the real homophobes have said.
Anyway, people like to point to the incident where the Sodomites demand to have sex with (or rather, “know,” which probably means the same thing in this context) Lot’s (male, possibly angelic) guests…well, yeah, that’s pretty bad, but doesn’t it occur to anyone using this example that maybe the whole, you know, RAPE thing might be part of the issue there, rather than just the fact that they wanted to have sex with men? The Jewish interpretation of the story seems to place a lot more emphasis on all the other shitty things the Sodomites did, too, many of which had nothing to do with sex.
