Proud To Be Heterosexual
Of course we all know that being straight is 12.7 times better than being gay.
But this article on the Daily Kos makes it that much more apparent:
I’m heterosexual, and it’s just freakin’ fantastic
I have never heard of the Daily Kos before. It must be some new conservative site. Perhaps they can help develop the umbrellas.

…The Daily Kos Is a humour website. The article you’re referencing even has “satire” clearly listed amongst its’ tags. Read before you condemn.

um, the kos is a progressive site (and one of the top two political blogs on the web so you should have heard of it), not a satire site, and this is clearly not even satire – it’s a statement of all of the economic, social and legal benefits of being straight, in the service of pointing out how unfair it is. C’mon guys. I expect better of my big gay umbrella.

@brooke,
sat⋅ire
/ˈsætaɪər/
–noun
1. the use of irony, sarcasm, ridicule, or the like, in exposing, denouncing, or deriding vice, folly, etc.
2. a literary composition, in verse or prose, in which human folly and vice are held up to scorn, derision, or ridicule.
3. a literary genre comprising such compositions.
Seeing how the tone of the article is sarcastic in nature, pointing out the ‘folly’ of not giving gays equal rights, I’d say it fits under the definition of satire.

12.7 times better? No, no, no…someone forgot their sexuality math.
Straight is 10 times better than Gay^2, and 40.893 times better than the square root of bisexuality divided by a rainbow.
You could include logarithms, but that is an entirely different chapter, and you have to bring in variables such as how many adopted children the couple has and whether or not the gay person raises their pinky when they drink, and what the drink consists of. I did my dissertation on this stuff, I know what I’m talking about.
