I think we’d see a huge swing in the votes in favor of Marriage Equality if people would truly envision what it would be like to actually attend a same-sex wedding and reception. It’d be like getting comp tickets to see a Broadway show. Or no cover when entering a club.

I mean, who doesn’t like free stuff???

@zomggirl, It’s a mistake to assume that all of those opposed to gay marriage are hetero… I’m certain that the larger majority are “non-practicing heteros”.

I was going to write a blog entry on Gay Marriage, but then I saw this video, and I read these comments, and I got so confused.

I started to fear gay marriages after I caught my husband sniffing my panties (and I was not in them). I vowed to picked against same sex marriages. But then I saw that uberhot gay marriage couple in the video, and I thought, “I wouldn’t mind seeing them looking after their kids in the local park.” Oh, so many issues.

I was in a heterosexual marriage and then Iowa people started gay marrying and now my wife and I are both gay married to each other. And we aren’t even in Iowa.

Personally I think the giant umbrella metaphor is kinda socialist. We need gay repellant raincoats. It’s every ignorant hetero for himself/herself!
